NIAMH MAC GOWAN trained as a graphic designer at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.

During her time there she found herself spending hours in the printmaking workshop.

After working for a few design agencies she decided to go out on her own as a printmaker.

She moved to Richmond where to this day, she has continued to be inspired by

The River Thames and the old buildings to be found in its surrounding areas.

Her etchings and aquatints have become well known for their

detailed and quirky style which is instantly recognisable.

Niamh's etchings are predominantly small in scale making them

ideal for hanging in groups or in limited spaces. The average edition run is 150.

This, together with the dimensions is reflected in the prices making her original prints easily affordable.
