U P  T H E  H I L L II  (T H E  R O E B U C K)

Also commissioned for 'The View' exhibition, this was drawn at the top of the hill, from where the View can be admired. The Roebuck is one of the oldest pubs in Richmond. In front of it there is a long tree-lined terrace with plenty of seats upon which you can sit and watch the sun set. This etching was begun in January, when the stark bareness of the trees lays to view the intricate brickwork on the beautiful buildings behind.
