This pub is favoured by rowers from Richmond as its just the right distance to work up a thirst and need a place to rest. It has remained unchanged for years although has suffered lately from an influx of over-zealous tourists and rugby supporters. There is enough room for everyone in the Summer though, as people spill out on to the road and the pebble beach on the river.
